Do you like cooking new foods with the proper space, equipment, and time? If yes, we are looking for you!

We are looking for someone passionate about food with a willingness to learn and be a part of a team. Our skilled chef and sous chef will teach you everything else you need to know!

In this year-round position, you will have the opportunity to use fresh ingredients to create a variety of exciting and nutritious meals—from buffet breakfasts, to gourmet dinners, and even fun campfire snacks. You’ll learn about food ordering and menu planning, too.

Summer Ministry Team

NLOM’s Summer Ministry Team is comprised of young leaders who are at the heart of making summer camp run. Members of this team obtain skills that are transferable to multiple careers, gain a supportive community and network, and make a real difference to the youth and families they serve at camp. And, let’s be honest, it’s tons of fun working at camp! 

Summer Ministry Team members have strengths in leadership, communication, hospitality, and teamwork. Being a member of our summer staff is not easy; it’s a lot of hard work. Housekeeper

We are looking for a hard-working, energetic team member to join our year-round team as a housekeeper. This position can be part-time or full-time based on the team member’s availability.

Our housekeepers maintain a high quality of cleanliness in all guest rooms, meeting areas, lobbies, and offices at the Carol Joy Holling Center. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, offices, hallways, and vacuuming.

As part of this full-time (at 30 hours/week) year-round position, many benefits are available including health insurance, a 403b match, paid time off, sick leave, free summer camp for immediate family members, meals provided seasonally, free camping & facility use, amazing team members, and much more! In addition, subsidized housing is available for individuals. Hourly rate ranges from $15.50 to $17/hour.

Host

We are looking for a hard-working, energetic team member to join our year-round team as a host.

The Host does everything possible to ensure that each group that comes to Carol Joy Holling Center has all it needs to accomplish its goals while on-site, including setting up its space, greeting guests, and providing assistance during its stay. Hosts are hired because of their serving hearts and extraordinary attitudes.
